aka KLIUWONG
I’m a Los Angeles based artist and Pratt Institute alum originally from San Francisco. Raised by educators, my passion for storytelling grew into a multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, printmaking, and communication design.
Since graduating, I have exhibited my art regularly in galleries and as an illustrator, I’ve collaborated with clients on countless projects like murals, clothing lines and editorial illustrations.
I’ve spent over a decade developing a visual language that blends bold color, surreal symbolism, and emotionally charged figurative work.
My paintings have been widely exhibited both internationally and in the USA where I regularly show with galleries like Hashimoto Contemporary and Corey Helford Gallery. My art is consistently sought after by collectors for its unique viewpoint and detailed imagery.
My work explores the complexity of human nature through powerful, layered women. By pairing vibrant colors with aggressive energy, I celebrate individuality and the unexpected details that make art feel alive.

Digitizing and Adding Color to Your Drawing
Bring your figures to life with professional finishing and color theory essentials. You’ll learn tips for developing your own unique sense of color so you can build palettes for your art that amplify your imagery. You’ll learn how to color your physical drawing and we’ll also move into the digital realm to master digitizing line work, building color layers, and adding highlights in Photoshop. Reinking and Finalizing Your Drawing
